On March 1, 2024, an event was organized by Associate Professor N.A. Tasilova of the History Faculty to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Berdibek Sokpakbayev, the father of children's literature, for first-year students of the History and Journalism Faculties. An educational and introductory program titled "Berdibek Sokpakbayev - the father of children's literature" was conducted.
