The UN Sustainable Development Goals are supported by the Faculty of History of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Various events are regularly held among students to ensure food safety and nutrition improvement ("Bauyrsak-party" /bauyrsak – national bread/, "Alma-party" / alma-apple/, National Nutrition Day, "Nauryz-kozhe", "Palau-party", etc.). One of such events was It was organized on March 26 in dormitories No. 10. A "Shubat party" event was held here. Several dozen liters of shubat and killograms of baursak were distributed among students and guests. Shubat is a national drink made from camel milk. The Kazakh people have long used it as a therapeutic and restorative remedy. It regulates the functioning of the stomach and pancreas well, heals ulcers, helps cure allergies, tuberculosis, asthma, diabetes and even cancer.
The main organizers of the action were: the Department of Archaeology, Ethnology and Museology and the Dean's Office of the Faculty. Dean, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Dosbol Baigunakov, Deputy Dean for Educational, Methodical and Educational Work, PhD Dr. Zhazira Terekbayeva thanked the student activists who organized this event. The events were also attended by undergraduates, doctoral students, as well as senior curator-adviser of the faculty Aigerim Yesenamanova. The guest of honor at the events was the "graduate" of the faculty, famous actor, songwriter Ramadan Amantai. In his speeches, he thanked the organizers of the above-mentioned event, in his opinion, such events support solutions to a number of issues in the field of education, health and social protection of youth.
