"Ensuring gender equality in different spheres of public life: problems and prospects"

In KazNU named after Al-Farabi took place a scientific webinar within the framework of implementation of the Roadmap for promotion in THE IR rating on the topic: "Ensuring gender equality in different spheres of public life: problems and prospects", organised by the student legal clinic and the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law for faculty members, students and undergraduates.
Head of the Department, Doctor of Law, Professor G.A. Kuanalieva opened the scientific seminar, emphasising the importance and relevance of the issues to be discussed in the webinar.
Then with the report on a theme "The concept of gender equality in RK and its realisation" acted candidate of jurisprudence, associate professor Ashyralieva B.S., designating the most appreciable achievements and problems in sphere of realisation of the specified concept.
Then the floor was given to the keynote speaker - Aigerim Kusayynkyzy, LLM in International Law, PhD candidate in Public Administration, researcher of the Centre for Social and Gender Studies at the Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University (Almaty), who spoke on the topic: " How is gender equality compatible with traditional values?".
Aigerim Kusayynkyzy in an accessible, interactive form highlighted the most relevant and important issues of gender equality on the materials of the Republic of Kazakhstan and foreign countries. Participants of the webinar received full and detailed answers to their questions.
