«Responsible consumption and ecology»

On March 27, 2024, the 3rd year students of the Department of Turkology and Language Theory of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, majoring  in “Foreign language: two foreign languages”, held a seminar on topic:  “Responsible consumption and ecology” within the framework of SDG:  “Responsible consumption and production”. During the seminar,the students raised the  issues of propaganda and stimulation of  the efficient resource and energy  use  which is one of the urgent problems at  present time. The students focused on the fact that sustainable consumption and production stimulates the efficient use of resources and energy and that it is possible to "do more and better with less money" — by reducing the amount of resource use while improving the quality of life.
