Farabi Readings

In Kazakhstan, within the framework of the SDGs, great attention is paid to quality education. On April 4, 2023, the Department of Language and General Education Training of Foreigners held a scientific student conference "Farabi Readings" at the Faculty of Pre-university Education.  The meeting of the Russian language section was attended by teachers of the department: moderator associate professor Musabekova U., secretary senior lecturer Akhmedova A. Scientific supervisors of student reports: associate professor Ignatova E., associate Professor Tolmacheva D., senior teachers Akhmedova A., Kurmanova T., Mamytbekova L. Students from Japan, China, the Philippines, and the USA made scientific presentations. The conference was held at a high level. The students showed their knowledge by presenting different topics using a scientific style of speech.  Students' participation in scientific work, speaking skills and discussions of their reports are the result of a lot of work by teachers. Al-Farabi Kazakh National University is not only an educational institution, but also a scientific center. Foreign students come to the Faculty of pre-university Education, where they study Kazakh and Russian languages, regional studies, in order to further receive high-quality education at various faculties of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
