CONGRATULATIONS TO PROFESSOR KURMANBAEVA MERUYERT SAKENOVNA

On April 12, the Al-Farabi Kazakh National Research University hosted the "Science Day".

Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev: "Today's development of science is the key to tomorrow's success of the country. If we say that we will not remain among the leaders of world development, then, first of all, we must develop science. Therefore, it is time to raise national science to a new level. Scientific innovations are necessary for the development of domestic production. The work of our scientists should create high-quality products or make production more efficient. Only then will our economy develop." In accordance with the instructions of the President, this year the Government decree approved the Concept of development of higher education and science in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2023-2029. All activities and scientific projects of KazNU aimed at the development of science as a research university will be implemented within the framework of this concept.

Rector Tuimebayev Zhanseit Kanseitovich congratulated the professors and associate professors of the University, the entire teaching staff, young scientists and students with special medals and presented cash prizes. Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor of the Department of Biodiversity and Bioresources of Al-Farabi Kurmanbayeva Meruyert Kazakh National University Meruert Sakenovna, on behalf of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Sayasat Nurbek, was awarded a letter of thanks for conscientious work and executive service on the way to prosperity and made a significant contribution to the development of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
