The students prepared a presentation. Kazakhstan has laws and regulations aimed at combating domestic violence, but there is still a lot of work to improve the victim support system and prevent such situations. In 2017, domestic violence was decriminalized in Kazakhstan -beatings and minor harm to health, such as bruises, bruises and fractures of limbs, were transferred from the Criminal Code to the Administrative One. In September 2022, the president instructed to toughen the punishment for domestic violence, to which the Ministry of Internal Affairs amended the legislation: cases of administrative offenses can be initiated on the basis of evidence without the petition of the victim of violence, eliminating the possibility of re-reconciliation between the parties. Strengthening administrative and criminal liability for domestic violence, as well as the introduction of community service as punishment for aggressors. The algorithm of action in the case of domestic violence by relatives, phone numbers and organizations where to call and contact were given.
