A bus was presented to the university by a KazNU graduate.

In honor of the 90th anniversary of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Murat Adilkhanov, member of the presidium of the KazNU Alumni Association, Chairman of the Board of Directors of FalconEuroBus LLP, presented a new bus to the university.

The ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Chairman of the Alumni Association of KazNU Kairat Mami, the Chairman of the Board - Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebaev, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of "FalconEuroBus" LLP Murat Adilkhanov, professors, teachers and students of the university.

The rector of the university, Zhanseit Tuimebaev, spoke at the event and thanked the patron, Murat Adilkhanuly, on behalf of the entire staff.

"This year is the 90th anniversary of the establishment of KazNU. Within the framework of the anniversary year, there are large-scale events at the university. Scientists, famous alumni of the alma mater will contribute to the celebration of the 90th anniversary. At the beginning of the year, on January 15, there was a ceremonial opening of the Jubilee Year in the Al-Farabi Library. At this event, our alumnus Murat Adilkhanovich presented KazNU with a special certificate. Today a new bus was solemnly handed over. On behalf of the entire staff of the university, I express gratitude to our alumnus, patron Murat Adilkhanovich", - said the rector.

In turn, Kairat Abdrazakuly said: "Let the new bus serve for the benefit of teachers and youth. They will travel with this vehicle to different conferences, recreation in nature. May happiness accompany you on your way," he said.

The new bus presented to KazNU will be used for business trips, working trips of professors and teachers. This comfortable means of transport will also be used by students for trips to extra-university events - various contests, festivals and competitions.

In turn, Murat Adilkhanov said that the new bus will be used for the benefit of the educational institution.

"I graduated from the Law Faculty of Al-Farabi KazNU in 1994.  I spent my student years here. Here I studied with professors and made many friends. Therefore, I am indebted to KazNU. Today we presented a bus to express our gratitude to our alma mater", - said philanthropist Murat Adilkhanov.
