Gabit  Koishibaev is a Kazakh diplomat. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the People's Republic of China (2019-2022), to Mongolia (from 2022). He was born on March 12, 1972 in Almaty. Speaks foreign languages: English, Chinese, Japanese.

In 1994 he graduated from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University

In 1999 he graduated from the Diplomatic Academy under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan

He started his career in 1994 in the system of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan

From 1994 to 2011, he held various positions in the central office and foreign institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan

From 2011 to 2014, he was the Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Shanghai (China)

From 2014 to 2016, he held senior positions in the Central office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan

From 2016 to November 2019, he was Deputy Head of the Department of Foreign Policy and International Relations of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan

In 2019-2022, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the People's Republic of China

By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 8, 2022, he was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Mongolia

Diplomatic rank: Envoy Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the II class.
