Curator- adviser of the Kazakh group of 1-2 years of the Department of Geography and Geoinformatics, Department of Cartography and Geoinformatics, specialization “Natural and Technogenic Hazards”, report by Aktoty Utepovna Bekzhanova on the curatorial hour.

    In accordance with SDG-4, they took part in the international scientific conference of students and young scientists “Farabi’s World”, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, with the goal of teaching students to engage in science as a way to obtain a quality education.

    2nd year students Maxim G. “Development of aeolian relief in the arid regions of Kazakhstan” and A.A. Karabeva prepared a report on the topic “The danger of regulation of the river bed” for the conference.

    We congratulated our student Maxim Gauhar, who took 3rd place at the conference, and talked about the need for other students in the group to participate in conferences in the future and its effectiveness.
