The II round of the XVII Republican Student subject Olympiad among students of 2-4 courses of the educational program "6B05304- Physics" was organized on the basis of the Faculty of Physics and Technology of the NAO "Al-Farabi Kazakh National University".
The Olympiad was held on April 30, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in lecture hall No.301 of the Faculty of Physics and Technology among students of the following universities: NAO "KazNU named after al-Farabi", NAO "ENU named after L.N. Gumilev" (Astana), NAO "South Kazakhstan University named after M. Auezov" (Shymkent), NAO "Kokshetau University named after Sh.Ualikhanov" (Kokshetau).
After the official part, a tour of the laboratories of the Faculty of Physics and Technology was organized:
1. National Open-type Nanotechnology Laboratory;
2. Huawei academy;
3. Educational laboratories (mechanics, molecular physics, electricity and magnetism, atomic and nuclear physics).
The awarding of the winners of the Olympiad took place in the conference hall of the Faculty of Physics and Technology. According to the results of the Olympiad, the following places were awarded: 1st place – Tynyshtyk Nazerke, 2nd year, NAO "KazNU named after al-Farabi" (supervisor: Taukenova A.S.); 2nd place – Sadu Amina, 3rd year, NAO "KazNU named after al-Farabi" (supervisor: Toktarbai S.), Kenzhetai Magzhan, 3rd year, NAO "Kokshetau University named after Sh.Ualikhanov" (supervisor: Zhasynbai A.D.); 3rd place – Abdizhalilova Ulzhalgas, 3rd year, NAO "ENU named after L.N.Gumilev" (supervisor: Tsyba P.Yu.), Serik Ayarys, 3rd year, NAO "KazNU named after al-Farabi" (supervisor: Kurmangalieva V.O.) and Zhaksybek Nursultan, 2nd year, NAO "South Kazakhstan University named after M. Auyezov" (supervisor: R.T. Abdraimov).
