Akimbek Askar Akimbekuly is the artistic director of the Youth Creativity Center of Almaty Technological University. In 2004-2005, he studied at the preparatory faculty for foreign citizens of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. In 2005-2009, he received a bachelor's degree from the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T.K.Zhurgenov. In 2015-2017, he graduated from the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T.K.Zhurgenov with a degree in Theater Directing. In the period 2018-2021, he received a PhD degree in Directing at the Department of Acting and Directing of the Faculty of Theater Arts of the T.K.Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts. Since 2021, he has been a teacher at the Department of Acting and Directing at the Faculty of Theater Arts of the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T.K.Zhurgenov. He is also the soloist of the ethno-pop ensemble Silk Road. In 2008, he took part in the 11th International Festival of Youth Creativity "Shabyt", held in Astana, and won a prize in the nomination "Pop Song". In 2016, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the country's independence, he was awarded the Kazakh Language medal with the approval of the international society "Kazakh Language".
