Cooperation with the Eurasian Union of Universities is intensified

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The delegation of the Eurasian Union of Universities (EURAS) headed by Imran Akperov, Acting President of Business Eurasia Alliance, Rector of the Southern University (IUBiP), paid a working visit to Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

The honored guests got acquainted with the activities of the university and held a meeting with the university management.

During the meeting, the parties noted the dynamic development of bilateral relations and confirmed mutual interest in further comprehensive strengthening of partnership.

Among the honored guests - Rector of the International University of Science and Technology of Turkey Yerdal Dursun, Secretary General of the Eurasian Union of Universities Muzaffar Bachja, Rector of St. Petersburg University of Economics and Management Technologies Oleg Smeshko, Honorary Consul of Uzbekistan in Bursa, Chairman of the Board of Baktat Corporation Ali Baklan, Project Manager of the European Association of Higher Education Sergey Tarasov.

At the meeting member of the Board - Vice-Rector for Operations Erkin Duisenov drew attention that KazNU attaches special importance to the development of cooperation with member universities of the Eurasian Union of Universities.

In turn, Imran Akperov shared information about the work of the union and noted that he is always ready for a close partnership with KazNU in the future.

The parties identified the main areas of cooperation and agreed to intensify interaction in the field of education and science.

At the end of the meeting, Vice-Rector for Operations Yerkin Duisenov and Acting President of Business Eurasia Alliance Imran Akperov signed a number of documents aimed at developing partnership relations.
