Chairman of the Board - Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebaev held a meeting with Chinese scientists who specially arrived to the conference on the study of medicinal plants and natural medicines.
During the conversation, the parties exchanged views on the development of partnership.
Doctor from Lanzhou Institute of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Pharmacy Zhang Ju expressed his gratitude to the management and staff of the educational institution for the attention and high level of the conference on the basis of KazNU. In his speech the scientist told about the main tasks of the Institute and voiced a number of proposals.
"The Lanzhou Institute of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Pharmacy is working to prevent diseases in animals. Now specialists of the institute conduct research on skin diseases of animals and produce the necessary drugs. I think that if we attract scientists of KazNU to this work, we will achieve effective results", - said the guest of honor Zhang Ju.
At the meeting, the head of the university Zhanseit Tuimebaev noted that animal husbandry is one of the most important industries, and expressed support for the proposals of the Chinese scientist. The rector also proposed to prepare a plan of joint work and implement these recommendations with scientists of the Research Center of Medicinal Plants of KazNU.
