The project "Development of functional products from combined milk with a microcapsulated probiotic" is stepping to the final of the «Reactor of Technology Commercialization» projects in the medical and pharmaceutical industry organized by JSC “Science Foundation”

Functional food products yogurt and cottage cheese paste based on combined milk with microcapsulated probiotic of the "Argymak" series were obtained on the basis of the Department of Biotechnology of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Patents and certificates of state registration have been obtained for these products in the Committee for Sanitary and Epidemiological Control of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the European Economic Union.

In the period from 06/10/2024 to 06/12/2024, the project team represented by Abdulzhanova Malika Anvarbegovna participated in a dialogue platform in Astana, organized by JSC Science Foundation and dedicated to the commercialization of the results of scientific and technical activities "Reactor of Technology Commercialization" in the medical and pharmaceutical industry on the basis of JSC Astana Medical University.

As a result, 13 pitch projects in the field of medicine and pharmaceuticals were heard, among them the project "Development of functional products from combined milk with a microcapsulated probiotic" was presented. During the event, a lot of useful information was received about the grant program of JSC "Science Foundation" with financing up to 350 million tenge. There are also prerequisites for establishing communication with business entities.

The possibilities of commercialization of the presented product "Argymak" were discussed with the entrepreneur of "Marine Health Group" LLP Dias Tastambekov. In addition, there was interest from 3 business entities in this project, such as the Medical Center Hospital of the President’s affairs Administration Avdeev Andrey, "Saigak Orta" LLP and "MMG Ltd" LLP.

The possibilities of cooperation in the field of science with "Immuniguide" LLP were proposed by N.N. Uderbaev.
