KazNU continues to accept applications for the competition on educational grants
Admission Committee of Al-Farabi KazNU third day accepts applications from applicants to participate in the competition of grant educational programs. The competition itself started on the weekend. Responsible secretaries of the faculties help to fill in the necessary documents, answer questions, provide information and assist applicants in the application process.
In three days, documents from 1126 applicants were accepted. The total number of applicants for the bachelor's degree was 412 people. Of these, 319 received consultation and reception offline and 93 people online. The most popular today are the Faculty of Information Technology, the Faculty of Philology, the Faculty of Journalism, equally the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management and the Higher School of Economics and Business of KazNU.
Today, 30 people from among the applicants for master's degree have received consultations in various formats. In total, 1,243 people have been consulted since the start of the admission campaign. Applications for participation in the comprehensive testing are currently being accepted. According to the PhD level, as of July 15, the number of potential doctoral students who sought advice amounted to 25 people. During the admission campaign period from the beginning of June, the total number amounted to 1008 people. It should be noted that since the beginning of work (June 1), 9479 applicants have applied to the admission committee of KazNU for advice. To date, the Office for Work with International Students has accepted 425 potential students (bachelor's degree – 208, master's degree – 187, PhD – 30 people, respectively). The Faculty of Pre-university Education accepted documents from 315 students: international students and preparatory courses 195 people, college – 99, vocational school – 21 people, respectively. The branch of KazNU in Bishkek of the Kyrgyz Republic recruited 247 applicants. In just the third day, 1,428 applicants passed the electronic queue to participate in the competition for a state educational grant. For comparison, last year, the number per day did not exceed 1 thousand. Today, a record number of applicants have been accepted within the walls of the country's leading university.
