ZOOM meeting of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University representatives and National University of Singapore representatives

A meeting of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU) representatives and National University of Singapore (NUS) representatives was held online on the ZOOM. At the Meeting from KazNU presented: Director of the Department of International Cooperation Omirzhanov E.T., Dean of the Faculty of Physics and Technology Beisen N.A., Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Physics and Technology for Scientific Innovations and International Relations Peshaya S.L., Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Dushimova Z., Director of the Research Institute for Sustainability of Ecology and Bioresources Professor Tastambek K.T., Dean of Geography and Natural Sciences Professor Aktymbaeva A., Deputy Dean of the Higher School of Economics and Business Professor Daribaeva M. From NUS presented Director, National University of Singapore (Global) Ms. Chua Nan Sze, Marie-Antonie, and , Vice-Dean, NUS Graduate School Professor Caroline Lee.

The possibilities of cooperation between KazNU and NUS on scientific and academic lines were discussed at the meeting. The deans of the faculties presented educational programs and ongoing topics of scientific projects at the faculties. During the meeting, NUS representatives presented opportunities for cooperation in the field of academic mobility of students, participation in summer and winter schools and scientific internships for teachers within the framework of programs in Kazakhstan and Singapore (Bolashak program and Research Internship at NUS). The parties agreed to develop further cooperation.
