Meeting of first-year students with the Managment of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics

On August 29, a meeting of first-year students and their parents with the Managment of the faculty was held at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics. The event was attended by the Dean of the faculty Doszhan N.S., heads of departments and a senior curator. The purpose of the meeting was to introduce new students and their parents to the academic staff and structure of the faculty.

During the meeting, first-year students and their parents had the opportunity to meet with the managment of the faculty and departments, learn about the history of the university and the faculty, and get acquainted with the main areas of scientific and educational activities. Teachers and heads of departments spoke about the key areas of work, scientific research and educational programs implemented at the faculty.

The meeting participants asked many questions regarding the learning process, social conditions for students, student life, the allocation of dormitories and other important aspects that concern first-year students at the start of their studies. The managment of the faculty gave comprehensive answers to all questions and expressed their readiness to support students throughout their entire period of study. This meeting became an important stage in the adaptation of first-year students to the new educational environment, helped to establish initial contacts with teachers and faculty management, and set the tone for a fruitful and successful start to the academic year.
