Introducing Freshmen to the Code of Honor and Student Regulations of KazNU in an Informal Setting

Within the framework of Sustainable Development Goals №4. Quality education

On September 12, 2024, the Faculty of History at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University held an important event for freshmen - an introduction to the Code of Honor and the Student Regulations of KazNU. To create a more relaxed and friendly atmosphere, the meeting was organized in an open space on the university campus.

The Dean of the Faculty, Dosbol Suleimenovich Baigunakov, warmly welcomed the students and emphasized the importance of adhering to university rules and showing respect to others. The Deputy Dean for Academic, Methodological, and Educational Work, Zhazira Makhmudovna Terekbayeva, explained in an accessible way the organization of the educational process and the basic rules of student conduct. At the end of the meeting, the senior advisor of the faculty, Mukhtar Khodzhabay, elaborated on the essence of the Code of Honor and the Student Regulations, focusing on the key principles and values of the university. Each freshman received a copy of the Code of Honor to be able to refer to it at any time.

The informal setting of the event facilitated active interaction between students and faculty, which made the introduction to the important university documents not only informative but also enjoyable.
