Yesterday, an important meeting for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-year students, organized by the faculty administration, took place at Student House No. 16. The meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, G. R. Dauliyeva, Vice Deans Zh. Zh. Yermekova and Zh. A. Ametova, Heads of Departments Z. B. Akhmetova, G. S. Smagulova, and G. E. Kerimbek, Deputy Head of the Department Sh. A. Nurgazy, as well as senior faculty curators-advisors I. U. Kuliev, senior curators-advisors of the department D. R. Turarov, A. Zh. Kukeev, S. I. Taszharganov, and M. D. Sharapieva.
Students were introduced to key documents, such as the Academic Integrity Policy and the University’s Academic Policy. Key university life rules were also discussed, helping students adapt more easily to the academic process and dormitory life.
The administration also familiarized students with the main aspects of dorm life, including safety rules, common area usage, and key points related to the learning process. This ensures the implementation of many sustainable development goals: SDG 3 - Good health and well-being, SDG 6 - Clean water and sanitation, SDG 11 - Sustainable cities and communities. This meeting was a great opportunity to ask questions and get valuable advice from faculty and senior students.
Additionally, the teachers gave guidance on prioritizing life, engaging in research, and effectively managing time. It is important to find a balance between studies, research, and personal life to succeed academically and develop skills. Remember to take advantage of international exchange programs and internships, which will enrich your experience and broaden your horizons!
