On September 27, the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics and Senior Lecturer of the Department of Mathematical and Computer Modeling, Rosa Sabirova, held an English Movie Club meeting for the faculty students. The event involved watching a cartoon in English, followed by a discussion on the importance of learning foreign languages and effective methods for mastering them.
During the discussion, students shared their experiences in learning English and talked about strategies to improve their language skills. Rosa Sabirova emphasized that knowledge of a foreign language is an important tool for both personal and professional development in today's world.
This event contributes to the achievement of one of the Sustainable Development Goals SDG 4 – ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all.
