On September 24, 2024, a round table on the theme "National Figure – Nurtas Ondasynov" was held in the Library of Writers of Kazakhstan, dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the birth of an outstanding public and statesman, correspondent-scientist Nurtas Dandybaevich Ondasynov. It was attended by PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of History of Kazakhstan, Faculty of History Nurpeis Taldybek and senior lecturer Smagulov Sabyrkhan. The organizer of the round table was the honorary librarian of Kazakhstan, cultural worker – Agaysa Elena. The round table featured presentations on the topics: "A great personality of his time – Nurtas Ondasynov", "Heroically written work". The exchange of views was attended by writer, scientist, chief researcher of the M. O. Auezov Institute of Literature and Art Nurdaulet Akysh, writer, publicist Kulbai Adyrbekovich, history teacher of gymnasium No. 175 "Zhana Gasyr" Salimbayev Aidos, college students, librarians, readers. In the reports and exchange of views, the life path of public and statesman Nurtas Dandybaevich Ondasynov, his selfless work for the country, his contribution to the socio-economic development of Kazakhstan, his merits as a corresponding scientist in Oriental studies, the development of language science were noted. It was noted that the great deeds of such historical figures should serve as an example for young people. The need to popularize the individuality of a national figure is emphasized.
