The participation of students in Central Asia Fintech Summit
On 9.10.2024, as part of the updating of the discipline "Fundamentals of Financial Literacy" for 1st-year students of the specialty "Finance" and the implementation of the SDG 4 plan "Quality Education" and SDG 8 "Decent work and Economic Growth", the group's adviser, Ph.D. in Economics, senior lecturer of the Department "Finance and Accounting" G.E. The Central Asia Fintech Summit is a grand event for specialists in the field of financial technologies, digital currencies and cross-border payments.
The summit was attended by leading financial market experts, representatives of regulators, and international organizations such as the International Monetary Fund, the Bank for International Settlements, and the World Bank.
An exhibition area was organized within the framework of the summit, where global and domestic representatives of the fintech market talked about innovations and the latest achievements
On the second day of the Central Asia Fintech Summit, a pitch session for FinTech startups was held, with the support of MOST HUB.
The key partner of the event is Elevandi Kazakhstan, whose main goal is to promote an active and open dialogue between the public and private sectors, and to promote FinTech in the global digital economy.
The students were impressed by the grand scale of the FinTech event in the region and the large number of speeches by the world's leading Kazakh speakers of the financial world.
