RSE Gosgradkadaster held a meeting with students and faculty of the Department of Geography, Land Management and Cadastre of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University

The main purpose of the branch is to protect and represent the interests of Gosgradkadastr in the territory of Almaty as a separate structural unit. This allows us to quickly and efficiently provide services in the field of urban planning cadastre and work closely with various public and private organizations in the region.

The main areas of activity include:
• Maintaining the State urban planning cadastre is a key tool for effective urban infrastructure management and planning. The branch conducts systematic accounting and collection of information on all urban development sites, which contributes to the formation of an accurate database for city authorities.
• Provision of information from the state urban planning cadastre – includes the provision of cadastral certificates and cadastral plans, which are essential documents for the implementation of architectural, urban planning and construction projects.
• Inventory of engineering communications is one of the most important tasks of the branch, which allows updating information on the state of urban engineering infrastructure, which is necessary for high–quality design and construction. The cadastral plan is drawn up on a scale of 1:500, which ensures high accuracy and detail.
• Registration of urban development projects and project documentation – includes registration of pre-design and design estimates, objects of architectural, urban planning and construction activities. This contributes to the streamlining of urban planning processes and compliance with all regulatory standards in design.

On October 4, 2024, RSE Gosgradkadaster, represented by Musabaev Turlybek Turkpenovich, Director General of RSE Gosgradkadaster and representatives of the Almaty branch,within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 7, 14, 15)  held an information meeting with students and teaching staff of the Department of Geography, Land Management and Cadastre of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. During the meeting, representatives of the branch talked about their activities, discussed current projects and prospects for the development of the urban planning sector in Kazakhstan.

Special attention was paid to the issues of training specialists in the field of cadastre and land management. Representatives of Gosgradkadastr stressed the importance of close cooperation with universities to ensure a high level of competence of future personnel, especially in conditions of rapid development of technologies such as geographic information systems (GIS) and digitalization of urban planning.
The importance of the meeting for students and teachers
The meeting was a unique opportunity for students to learn firsthand about the practical aspects of working in the field of urban planning cadastre, which is of great importance for their professional development. The issues of internships and internships in the branch were also raised, which opens up prospects for young professionals.

The teachers, in turn, expressed interest in further cooperation with the branch, which will allow updating the curricula, taking into account modern requirements and trends in the field of urban planning and land management.
Thus, such meetings are an important step towards the formation of competent and in-demand specialists who are ready to solve urgent problems in the field of land management and urban planning at the national level.
