Rector of KazNU met with the editor-in-chief of the newspaper ‘Kazaq adebieti’

Chairman of the Board - Rector of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev met with the Secretary of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan - editor-in-chief of the newspaper ‘Kazakәdebyeti’ Bauyrzhan Zhakyp.

During the conversation the parties discussed issues of co-operation in the media sphere.

The rector of the university thanked the famous poet, journalist for his visit to his native university, and also dwelled on recent achievements and further plans of KazNU.

During the meeting Zhanseit Tuimebayev drew attention to the issues of internship of journalism students in the editorial office of the newspaper ‘Kazakәdebyeti’. The head of the university offered the editor to share his experience with young journalists and teach them the subtleties of the profession.

In turn, KazNU alumnus, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan noted that the advanced edition is interested in interaction with the leading university and exchange of experience.
