On October 26, 2024, the first-year students of the Department of Foreign Philology and Translation Studies of the Faculty of Philology at Farabi Kazakh National University visited Gabit Musrepov Youth Theater, where they watched "Bolmagan balalyq shaq" play within the framework of SDG 4 "Quality Education." This event became an important part of their educational process, helping to develop not only professional knowledge but also spiritual values and an understanding of cultural aspects, which are an integral part of quality education.
The main goal was to teach adolescents to be winners in every endeavor while awaiting sunny and happy days. The play, based on the eponymous work, tells the story of the protagonist's challenging childhood, which unfolded amidst constant difficulties and trials. The students witnessed how hard circumstances can shape a strong character, instilling resilience, responsibility, and empathy in a person. The theme of the importance of human values and the role of family sparked lively interest and active discussion among the audience, allowing them to delve deeper into the cultural heritage of the Kazakh people.
Visiting the theater is part of the department's program aimed at enhancing the quality of education through immersion in the cultural environment. This event not only broadened the horizons of the first-year students but also strengthened their skills in analyzing literary texts, which are essential for their future professional activities in the field of philology and translation.
