The "We Are Against Domestic Violence" photo exhibition was organized to raise awareness and foster a community dialogue on the pressing issue of domestic violence. The exhibition aimed to educate the public, support survivors, and inspire action through the powerful medium of photography.

Exhibition Overview: The exhibition featured the works of over 20 photos. These photographs vividly depicted the impacts of domestic violence and the resilience of survivors, offering intimate insights into their experiences and journeys to recovery. The images ranged from portraits and documentary-style snapshots to abstract representations, providing a diverse array of visual narratives.

Objectives:

  1. Raise Awareness: Educate the public on the realities and prevalence of domestic violence.
  2. Empower Survivors: Give voice to survivors and show support for their courage.
  3. Encourage Action: Inspire community engagement and advocacy for policies to combat domestic violence.

Key Highlights:

  • Workshops and Panel Discussions: Alongside the exhibition, workshop and panel discussion were conducted. Topics covered included recognizing signs of domestic abuse, supporting survivors, and legal rights and resources available.
  • Interactive Installations: To encourage interaction, the exhibition featured installations where attendees could write messages of support or commit to actions against domestic violence, fostering a sense of community involvement.

Outcomes: The exhibition successfully attracted visitors, generating significant media coverage and community interest. Feedback collected from attendees indicated a heightened awareness of the issue and a willingness to engage in preventative actions.

Conclusion: The "We Are Against Domestic Violence" exhibition achieved its goals of raising awareness, supporting survivors, and motivating community action. Building on its success, plans for future events include expanding the initiative to more locations and integrating digital platforms to reach a broader audience.
