At the curatorial hour students learnt that infectious diseases can have a variety of causes and pose a significant threat to public health. Such dangerous infections as measles, influenza, tuberculosis, human papilloma virus and serous meningitis were discussed. The curator-adviser spoke in detail about each of these diseases, explaining their mechanisms of spread, symptoms and basic methods of prevention.

Important conclusions were made during the curatorial hour:

  1. Knowledge about the nature of infectious diseases helps in timely detection and prevention.
  2. Following a healthy lifestyle is one of the best ways to protect oneself from most infections.
  3. Everyone is responsible for their own health - taking care of their body and mind is an important step towards a long and healthy life.

At the end of the meeting it was noted that one of the ways to prevent all diseases is to follow a healthy lifestyle. Every person's health is in their hands!
