Mastermind meeting within the framework of SDG 4 "quality education"
On October 29, 2024, within the framework of SDG 4 "Quality Education," the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University held a mastermind session dedicated to discussing James Clear's book Atomic Habits. Graduate students, doctoral candidates, and professors who had previously read the book took part in the event. The meeting was organized by senior lecturers from the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology, A.K. Musina and Zh.A. Zhanabaeva.
During the session, participants discussed the competency profile of Al-Farabi KazNU graduates and shared their views on the book and practical advice they would like to apply in their lives. Participants also shared personal habits that help them in their research work.
The meeting, conducted within the framework of the SDG 4 "Quality Education" program, highlighted the importance of implementing positive habits to enhance personal effectiveness and professional growth. Students and professors had the opportunity to discuss the ideas from James Clear's book from the perspective of sustainable self-development and training competent specialists. The advice gathered from the book proved valuable for developing skills essential in research and aligned with sustainable development goals aimed at fostering an environment conducive to quality and continuous education.
