Growth of research on the Sustainable Development Goals in the Department of Physical Chemistry, Catalysis and Petrochemistry
According to the results of the research work of the faculty of the Department of Physical Chemistry, Catalysis and Petrochemistry, as well as on the basis of articles published in quartiles Q-1 and Q-2 of the Scopus database, there is a dynamic growth in the study of the direction of Sustainable Development Goals. In the academic year 2022-2023, the department published 7 articles dedicated to these goals, while in the academic year 2023-2024 the number of publications increased to 14, which is a twofold increase. This growth opens up new opportunities for sharing experiences and conducting research work aimed at improving and healing the environmental situation in the region. The chair actively participates in the development of scientific concepts to prevent the causes and consequences of environmental problems, as well as in the discussion of these issues at the world level.
