An event in an interactive format within the framework of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 4 – “Quality Education
On October 25, 2024, the Department of Russian Philology and World Literature and the 3rd-4th year students of “6BO2307 - Russian Philology” major of the Faculty of Philology held an event in an interactive format within the framework of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 4 – “Quality Education”.
The presenter (Almakhanova Alina) opened it, greeted the guests and participants, emphasizing the importance of quality education in the modern world and the role of higher education teachers in the development of professional and life skills of students. A presentation was shown on the topic: “Portrait of an ideal teacher. What should he be like in the 21st century?” Students in their speeches spoke about modern requirements for teachers, such key skills as technological competence, intercultural awareness and emotional intelligence. An open-ended discussion question was asked: “What makes an effective teacher in an era of change?” Cases and examples of successful teachers in the media space and their educational practices were demonstrated; an interactive format was constantly used with the opportunity to ask questions during the presentation. Interactive tasks for participants and teachers included games (“Guess the author from the portrait and biographical facts”), an open exchange of views on problems and challenges in the field of quality education, discussion of examples of their own practices, etc. In conclusion, the presenter summed up the results, expressed gratitude for active participation, and congratulations on Teacher’s Day were voiced
