SDG-2: Modern Cafeterias Operate at KazNU to Meet Contemporary Standards
Modern cafeterias are operating at KazNU to meet contemporary standards. Dining facilities that cater to the faculty, university staff, and students are available in the university's academic buildings and are designed to meet modern requirements.
These cafeterias offer a variety of healthy, diet-friendly meals. Menu planning takes into account dietary standards, with a focus on boiled and steamed dishes, as well as vegetables, fruits, and dairy products. Additionally, the cafeterias prepare a range of dishes from Kazakh, Turkish, and European cuisines. For instance, guests can enjoy pizza, khachapuri, pies, sweet buns, and various beverages. The cafeterias can accommodate around 150 people at once, and prices are affordable for all visitors.
Currently, the university also provides free meals in the cafeterias for students from low-income families.
