KazNU hosted an open workshop on creating a startup based on the achievements of neuroscience

The Department of Biophysics, Biomedicine and Neuroscience of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology of KazNU hosted an open workshop on creating a startup based on the achievements of neuroscience. The event was aimed at students, young scientists and anyone interested in how to implement scientific innovations in businesses that benefit people. Main speaker of the event, young entrepreneur, chief Operating Officer of the company Stressonika.kz Aldiyar Nurushev shared the history of creating a startup Stressonika.
The project was developed by a group of enthusiasts inspired by the latest dostineuroscience achievements and the idea of using them to improve the quality of human life. The team includes specialists in neurophysiology, medicine, and cognitive science.social psychology, IT and business.
Stressonika – this is a technology for assessing the psychophysiological status of a person based on monitoring the electrical signals of the brain and heart when performing psychological tests in virtual reality. Hardware complex Stressonika it allows you to diagnose the balance of the autonomous nervous system, cognitive functions, stress and burnout risks, and based on the results of assessing the psychophysiological status, create personalized programs to improve health, as well as work modes to prevent stress and burnout.
During the workshop, participants discussed key aspects of creating a startup in the scientific field, from generating an idea and developing a prototype to finding investors and promoting the product to the market. Special attention was paid to how data collected through neuroscience research can be used to create innovative solutions in the field of health and well-being.
Participants of the event actively asked questions and shared their thoughts, which made it possible to create an atmosphere of productive knowledge exchange. At the end of the workshop, the speaker emphasized the importance of integrating science and business, and encouraged students and young scientists to actively participate in such projects, which can not only contribute to the development of science, but also become the beginning of successful entrepreneurial activity.
The workshop was organized by the Association of Students and Young Scientists AIChE KazNU It was held in an atmosphere of open dialogue. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss how neuroscience data can be used to create new, popular products that help people maintain and strengthen all aspects of health, including mental health.
The event was an important step in the development of interdisciplinary approaches to science and entrepreneurship at KazNU, and also inspired students and young scientists to create their own innovative projects.
