From November 25 to December 10 this year, we invite all interested parties to join the international campaign "16 Days of activism against gender-based violence". This campaign, which began in 1991, was initiated by the Center for Women's Global Leadership Initiatives and has since become an important tool to combat violence against women around the world. It begins with the International Day against Violence against Women and ends on International Human Rights Day, highlighting the link between violence against women and human rights violations.
The story of the "16 Days of Activism" campaign begins with a desire to draw attention to the violence experienced by women in all corners of the world. In 1999, the UN General Assembly officially recognized this period as an important time to combat violence against women. Every year, millions of people around the world participate in events, promotions and educational programs aimed at raising awareness of the problem.
Join the Global "16 Days" Campaign and contribute to creating a safer and more equal society for women and girls. #NoExcuse
