Innovative Trends in Kazakh Literature
On November 20, 2024, a demo seminar on the topic: “Innovative Trends in Kazakh Literature” was held for the 4th-year students majoring in “6B01701 – Kazakh Language and Literature” within the framework of “UN Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education”. The seminar was organized by the lecturers of the Department of Kazakh Literature and Literary Theory, Leila Adamkyzy Mekebaeva and Shokan Amangeldiuly Shortanbai.
A special guest of the event was Gulmira Rzakhankyzy Saulebek, a senior researcher and PhD of M.O. Auezov Institute of Literature and Art, who made an insightful presentation on contemporary trends in Kazakh literature.
The seminar aimed at introducing the students to the theoretical and practical aspects of emerging trends in Kazakh literature and discussing important issues in modern literary studies. During her lecture, Gulmira Rzakhankyzy told about current trends in the development of Kazakh literature and the main features of creative exploration and the rise of new literary movements.
Digital technologies were used during the seminar. The students discussed activley the origins and the development of innovation, modernism, and postmodernism in literature. The material was presented using an interactive whiteboard, which helped enhance understanding of the topic and provide 100% invlolvement of the audience.
