The First Congress of Young Scientists of Kazakhstan "Zhas Satbayevshylar"
On November 21, 2024, the First Congress of Young Scientists of Kazakhstan "Zhas Satbayevshylar" was held, dedicated to the issues of sustainable development and scientific potential of the country. The event was attended by the head of the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law, Doctor of Law, Professor G.A. Kuanalieva. Special attention was paid at the Congress to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) proclaimed by the United Nations. Professor G.A. Kuanalieva stressed the importance of SDG 17 "Partnership for Sustainable Development", noting that effective international cooperation and the development of interdisciplinary research play a key role in solving global problems related to customs regulation, financial transparency and environmental protection. During the discussions, young scientists presented their projects aimed at implementing various aspects of the SDGs, including environmental initiatives, socio-economic research and innovative approaches to sustainable development. The Congress has become an important platform for strengthening partnerships and exchanging ideas among young researchers, which is consistent with the principles of SDG 17.
