Togyzkumalak competitions dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University

On December 1, togyzkumalak competitions dedicated to the 90th anniversary of al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the International Day of Persons with Disabilities were held in the university library building.

 Teams from 14 universities of Almaty took part in the competition. For the first time, foreign students from Bangladesh, Yemen, China, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenestan studying at our university participated in the competition. Also, athletes with disabilities from Almaty and Almaty region were among the participants of the competition to share their experience. 120 athletes took part in the competition.

 Togyzkumalak is not just a game, it is a national sport, our cultural heritage that is passed down from generation to generation. And today's competitions are a continuation of traditions, a new stage in the development and popularization of this sport at the university.

 The winners of the competitions were determined in six categories: students (men, women), international students (men, women), persons with disabilities (men, women).

 The participants of the competition express their gratitude to the university management, the public association Parasat Trade Union for their help in organizing the competition and valuable prizes to the winners.
