What does it mean to be a descendant of an independent country?

The independence of our country is the result of the courage, unity and self-sacrifice of previous generations. You are the heirs of these feats, and this is a reason to be proud.

Independence is not only freedom, but also a challenge. Our duty as descendants is to preserve this gift, work for the good of the country and strengthen its sovereignty.

To be a descendant of an independent country means to support the language, customs and traditions of our people. This is what makes our nation unique and strong.

Each of us is a piece of a big puzzle. Our efforts in education, work, social life contribute to the prosperity of the country. The more you strive for self-realization, the stronger Our Motherland becomes.

Knowledge of history helps you better understand at what price independence was won. Remembering this means respecting those who made freedom possible.

We are an example for the next generation. Show your children and others how important it is to love your Motherland, support its development and maintain independence.

As descendants of an independent country, we have the opportunity to build a future based on freedom, justice, and respect for our roots. Our achievements become part of the story that inspires those who come after us.

In order to increase the patriotic feeling of the younger generation, in honor of the 33rd anniversary of our Independence, first-year students of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University launched a challenge called "Generations of Independence". The students, in turn, sent it to all Kazakhstanis.
