Tour of the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On 05.12.2024, from 12 am to 14 pm, under the guidance of Alikbaeva M. B. and master's student of the specialty “Cultural Studies” Nabieva N. E., within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals and “Travel to sacred

places”, we visited the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan with 1st year students of the specialty “Cultural Studies”.

Students of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University were informed about the goals of Sustainable Development in the direction No. 4 “Quality Education”, and was given the opportunity to learn about the culture and history of the country which will expand their worldview.

The purpose of visiting the museum: to arouse the interest of the younger generation and create an opportunity to collect high-quality knowledge about cultural monuments, to develop students’ curiosity and versatility.

Due to the fact that visiting museums is becoming a rarity with modern times, and young people are increasingly avoiding the study of culture and history, it is the duty of every citizen to get acquainted with sacred and cultural artifacts in museums. The young generation and young professionals have a great influence on the accession of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the number of steadily developing, advanced countries.
