SDG-16: “Psycho Express” was held by Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and Narxoz University

On December 20 important event, «Psycho Express», aimed at providing free psychological support to students. The event brought together professional psychologists from leading universities in Almaty, offering students qualified support and consultations.
The main goal of the project is to promote a culture of psychological well-being among young people, develop skills in seeking help from specialists, and ensure accessibility of psychological services to a larger number of students in a short time.
During the four-hour event, psychologists managed to consult about 50 students. The most common requests included:
- self-exploration and understanding personal values;
- boosting self-esteem and gaining confidence;
- overcoming difficulties in social interactions;
- coping with depressive states and stress management.
As a result of the consultations, some students were identified as needing special attention and further support.
The «Psycho Express» project fully aligns with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in terms of ensuring quality education and creating a supportive environment for students. Organizers hope that this initiative will make a significant contribution to the psychological well-being of young people, fostering conditions for their personal and academic development.
