Canadian Ambassador met with KazNU scientists
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada to the Republic of Kazakhstan Christopher Duggan visited the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and met with the dean and faculty.
The following participated in the meeting: Political Advisor Zeynab Aliyeva, Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science Bekzhan Meirbayev, Head of the Department of Political Science and Political Technologies Gulnar Nasimova, Head of the Global Partnership Office of the Department of International Cooperation Aytolkin Ashimova, Vice Dean for Research, Innovation, and International Relations Yeldos Oserbaev, as well as faculty members, doctoral students, and master's students from the Department of Political Science and Political Technologies.
The current issues of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were discussed, particularly those related to quality education and partnerships. The parties also talked about the university's achievements, research areas, and future plans for cooperation, including the organization of events and lectures for students.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Christopher Duggan donated new books to the student library of the Department of Political Science and Political Technologies named after T. Mustafin, which was established with the support of the renowned Kazakhstani political scientist Dosym Satpaev.
