The project "BEST STUDENT GROUP": The best group of our faculty was determined

5 february, 2025

February 5, 2025, in the 106th auditorium of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, the project "BEST STUDENT GROUP" was held, organized by the "Sunkar" professional bureau of students and undergraduates of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics. This project was held in the form of a competition. The judges of the competition were the Dean of Students of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics Tursyntai Nurkhan Nurbolatovich, the coordinator of the "BEST STUDENT GROUP-2025" project of the "Sunkar" trade union of students and undergraduates Batyrbek Omirserik, and the chairman of the "Sunkar" professional bureau of students and undergraduates of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics Seit Nurbakhyt Nuralyuly. This competition, which consisted of 4 different stages, was very competitive. Our participating groups are really knowledgeable and talented. If I were to go into detail about the stages,

Stage 1: Creative Presentation Video- In this stage, the participating groups presented their group members in their videos. Good editing and creativity were also considered.

Stage 2: A high-IQ group- In this stage, the ingenuity and intelligence of our participating groups were tested. The process was carried out by selecting tickets with interesting questions and logical questions. The answers to the questions were considered to be as good and complete as possible.

Stage 3: My Profession- In this stage, our participating groups worked on special facts about their profession and introduced the professions they were studying in a way that would attract the attention of others.

Stage 4: Farabi Life- In this stage, our participating groups tested how much they knew about our University. Sheets with questions were distributed to each group and they worked on them.

Our students, who competed in knowledge, understood the importance and benefits of teamwork. We believe that the introductory video task given to the groups before participating in this project not only increased unity and respect, but also provided fresh ideas and an atmosphere full of preparation. The end of this competitive competition ended with a summary. Since it is a competition, victory and defeat go hand in hand, we awarded our participating groups.

1st place Mathematics major 23-1 group

2nd place Actuarial mathematics 24-1 group

3rd place Actuarial mathematics 23-1 group
