Master's students of the dual-degree program got acquainted with the Faculty of Law of KazNU

On February 19, 2025, master's students of Baku State University and Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, studying within the framework of the dual-degree educational master's program "7M04212 - Maritime and Energy Law", visited the Faculty of Law of KazNU. The visit was organized within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) No. 4 "Quality Education" and was aimed at familiarization with the educational programs, scientific research and international cooperation of the faculty.

A significant moment of the meeting was the conversation with the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor Akhatov U.A. He spoke in detail about the development of legal education at KazNU, emphasizing the importance of international cooperation and the training of highly qualified specialists in the field of law.

This event was held thanks to the assistance of the head of the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law Kuanalieva G.A., Professor Baidel'tdinov D.L., Coordinator of the two-diploma educational program of the Master's degree "7M04212 - Maritime and Energy Law" Professor Aygarinova G.T., as well as advisor Rasheva G.K. The meeting brought together master's students of Baku State University: Amirli A., Ibrahimzade L., Mammadova S., Mirzayeva S., Tayarli S., Khuseynova A., Khuseynov A., as well as their colleagues from the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi: Karkyn M., Abilova D., Nagmanov N., Bektursyna Zh.

During the visit, the guests met with faculty members and learned about current trends in legal education, modern educational methods, and opportunities for academic mobility. Particular attention was paid to issues of scientific research, legal practice, and international projects in which teachers and students participate.
