Within the framework of the project “40 events”, dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Faculty of Pre-University Education of Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, on March 11, 2025, the Department of Pre-University Education organized a leadership lecture on “Human Development Formula”. The event was held in the context of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with the participation of teachers and students of the Department of Pre-University Training.
The aim of the event was to help people to understand themselves more deeply, realize their role in society and evaluate their own achievements.
The lecture was conducted by Anuar Zharylkasynuly, a senior lecturer of the Mathematics Department of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abay, trainer Baikonys. During the lecture, he spoke about the ways of human thinking, emphasizing the importance of persistence and perseverance. The results of his scientific research were presented and interesting facts about the importance of science in human life were discussed.
The event was in line with several strands of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Under the goal of Quality Education (SDG 4), the lecture helped to shape the worldview of the learners. The presentation noted that large companies once started small and, through discipline and perseverance, have achieved significant results through responsible consumption and production (SDG 12). The importance of partnerships for sustainable development was emphasized (SDG 17).
Health and well-being were emphasized as the foundation of human development (SDG 3). The role of people's consciousness and actions in the development of sustainable cities and human settlements was also discussed (SDG 11). The need for hard work for decent work and economic growth was emphasized (SDG 8). Peace, Justice and Effective Institutions” (SDG 16) emphasized the preservation of national identity and the strengthening of human consciousness.
At the end of the lecture, the participants asked questions and exchanged opinions, noting the importance of studying the Human Development Formula. The necessity of such leadership lectures and scientific meetings was discussed. Such events contribute to the formation of listeners' worldview, increase interest in culture and strengthen national identity.
