International and academic cooperation

      During this time, teachers of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Faculty of Information Technology, Department of Computer Science have concluded many agreements with foreign universities, including highly rated universities in Europe and Asia, within the framework of international and academic cooperation. University scientists are actively working with leading industry experts, developing scientifically sound solutions to production problems and recommendations for improving the efficiency of enterprises. Among such scientists, PhD, Professor of Zhejiang University (China) R.Shadiev and Professor of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University N.Kerimbayev have been collaborating in scientific work for several years in a row (Fig.1). Thanks to the collaboration, a number of scientific innovations and scientific articles are published in the Scopus and WoS databases. In addition, joint work is underway within the framework of domestic grant projects.

  

Zhejiang University, College of Education

      From February 24, 2025, to March 24, 2025, doctoral student Adamova K.A. completed a traditional scientific internship at the invitation of Professor Rustam Shadiev from the College of Education at Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, People's Republic of China (Fig. 2). During the internship, data collection was conducted for the dissertation research, consultations were held with the international academic advisor, PhD Rustam Shadiev, and an introduction to the research directions of the College of Education was provided. Additionally, the doctoral student became familiar with the university’s core activities, as well as research projects conducted by master's and PhD students. Throughout the internship, access to all the aforementioned resources was organized.

     Zhejiang University was founded in 1897 and is considered the oldest technical university in the Baltic countries. It is located in Hangzhou, People's Republic of China. The university received its current name in 1998. Zhejiang University comprises 7 faculties, 37 colleges, schools, and departments, offering more than 140 undergraduate programs and 300 master's programs. The university employs 52 members of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering. Globally, ZJU ranks 33rd in the Academic Ranking of World Universities (2023) and 44th in the QS World University Rankings (2024).

      The Zhejiang University Library is one of the oldest university libraries in China (Fig. 3). In addition to Zhejiang University, the libraries provide access to international academic materials and books from universities across the People's Republic of China. The library offers all necessary conditions for students, allowing them to work in private study rooms or reading halls. All university libraries provide opportunities for students to engage in research activities.

      During the internship, scientific meetings were held, research methods were analyzed, and contemporary academic trends were explored. An individual plan was implemented in collaboration with domestic and international advisors in accordance with the research objectives. The internship helped establish a strong friendship between the academic advisor and the university. Valuable experience was gained throughout the internship.
