9 april, 2025

Currently, the system and quality of Education occupy an important place in the global development trends. In this regard, the QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) ranking is considered as factors affecting global education and socio-economic and environmental conditions.

The main goal of the QS rating is to identify the best universities in the field of higher education and show their place in the world education system. Also, since the QS rating is the most prestigious university rating system in the world, it determines the quality of universities according to various criteria. We especially know that academic reputation, the opinion of employers, the ratio between the number of teachers and students, the share of international students and teachers, the quality of research work and other indicators. The QS rating is aimed at increasing the international competitiveness of universities, expanding the educational opportunities of students and improving the quality of scientific research. This rating plays an important role in the formation of educational policy. Because it greatly contributes to the development of educational institutions.

In general, the QS rating is of great importance in improving the quality of the education system and ensuring global sustainability. Universities and universities not only become leaders in the implementation of Sustainable Development Goals, but also update their educational programs and increase social responsibility. Actively works in the fight against major problems and inequalities. If it were necessary to name the main criteria of the QS rating in the matter of social equality, we would first say that universities provide opportunities for international students. This creates conditions for the arrival and education of students from many countries. In this way, universities can contribute to the achievement of the equality and inclusiveness goals of the Sustainable Development Goals. And the QS rating for ensuring environmental sustainability also takes into account the principles of Environmental Responsibility and sustainable development of universities. This suggests that universities are eager to preserve the environment and introduce environmentally friendly technologies. In the context of providing services to the local community, the influence of education and social services can be noted. We know that universities have a duty to cooperate with local communities and provide education and development opportunities for them.

In conclusion, it is clear that the QS rating is an important tool for global education and social development. Universities, in turn, must improve the quality of education and support initiatives that include Social Responsibility and environmental sustainability in order to achieve the goals of sustainable development. This will have a positive impact on the development of the education system not only at the national level, but also at the world level.
