21.04.25 Michihiro Kamishima, a student of the Department of Language and General Education of Foreigners of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University from Japan, gave an interview to journalists of the national channel "Kazakhstan" in Kazakh. Language training at our faculty is not limited to auditing classes. Teachers of the department and in extracurricular time try to bring students to various cultural places, to create a real language environment as a result, they are brought to speech in a short time. Michihiro has been studying the Kazakh language in the initial group for 7 months. During the conversation, correspondents of the national channel asked questions about the purpose of learning the language, its life in Kazakhstan, its interests. Michihiro, who spoke the Kazakh language well in a short time, answered all the questions. In an interview, Michihiro showed that he not only learned the language, but also knows a lot about the history of the culture of the Kazakh people and he performed very well comparing the Kazakh culture with the culture of his country.

This result is the result of the hard work of the teachers of the department in choosing the right methodology, a system manual for foreign citizens.
