KazNU has started accreditation for 16 educational programs

Specialized accreditation for 16 educational programs has begun at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, which are implemented at the faculties of history, Philosophy, Political science and journalism.
The accreditation process is conducted by the expert commission of the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR) in order to assess the quality of education in various areas.
The experts began conducting a series of interviews with vice-rectors, heads of structural divisions, deans and heads of departments, coordinators of educational programs, as well as with representatives of employers, teachers, students and graduates of the university. This will provide comprehensive information about the educational programs being implemented and their compliance with modern requirements.
During the visit, experts from the accreditation agency IAAR will familiarize themselves with the facilities of the faculties of History, Journalism, Philosophy, and Political Science. The commission will also attend scheduled classes, conduct surveys, and hold interviews with teachers and students. As part of the comprehensive evaluation, a tour of the Farabi Library and the "Keremet" Student Service Center will be organized for the experts, providing them with a complete understanding of the resources and support available to students
The accreditation process will last until April 30, during which the commission will collect and analyze all the necessary information to form an objective assessment of the university's educational programs. According to independent experts, this process is an important step towards ensuring high-quality education and meeting current labor market requirements.
