Integration of Educational Systems in Kazakhstan and British Universities

On May 5, 2025, within the framework of SDG 4 the Department of Kazakh Literature and Theory of Literature of the Philological Faculty organized an International round table discussion on the topic: "Integration of Educational Systems in Kazakhstan and British Universities: Quality, Academic Freedom and Future Orientation". The moderator of this event was the head of the Department of Kazakh Literature and Theory of Literature, Higher Doctorate of Philological Sciences, Full Professor Temirbolat Alua Berikbaykyzy.
The Round table discussion was held in online and offline format. The event was attended by the teachers and PhD students of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, L.N. Gumilyov Eurasia National University, Gulistan State University (Uzbekistan). Saule Baymurzaevna Yerzhanova, Higher Doctorate of Philological Sciences, Full Professor, and Olga Markovna Tabachnikova, Higher Doctorate of Philological Sciences, Full Professor at the University of Central Lancashire, spoke at the Round table discussion.
The doctoral and undergraduate students of Professor O.M. Tabachnikova shared their experience of studying at the University. Stephen and Marcus talked about the student knowledge assessment system and the organization of independent work of students in universities in the United Kingdom. The advantages and disadvantages of the educational systems of Kazakhstan and Great Britain were noted.
The event was ended in agreeing about the cooperation the Department of Kazakh Literature and Theory of Literature and Lancashire Central University in the field of science and education, joint training.
