🗞 AI-SANA - a growth point. Interview of the rector of KazNU about the innovative project AI-SANA was published in the newspaper Liter!

At the end of 2024, the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek presented the AI-SANA artificial intelligence program to the President. All universities in the country are participating in it, 27 of which are anchor universities.

Rector Tuimebayev Zhanseit spoke about the first results of the participation of KazNU, one of the key universities in the program.

🎓 At the first ("zero") stage of the program:
🔹 17,357 KazNU students completed the AI ​​Basics course on the Huawei ICT Academy platform.
🔹 on Coursera - 91 students completed the Generative AI for Everyone and Prompt Engineering for ChatGPT courses.
🔹 on Learna and Skillbox — 19 students completed courses on the basics of AI and ChatGPT.

As a result, at the zero stage, KazNU students and teachers received a total of 45,394 certificates.

📚 The AI-SANA program is:
✔ world standards of AI training.
✔ joint development with experts from Stanford University, King’s College London, KAIST and other universities.
✔ focus on practice, digital thinking and adaptation to new challenges.
